The Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i, Links to Literacy fundraiser raised $125,000 for Hawai‘iʻs 50 Public Libraries. After a wet and rainy morning, the skies cleared enough for the 11:30 shot gun start and play began following 20 attempts at the Million Dollar Hole-in-one. Even with course restrictions for wet greens, it was an enjoyable but long day on the course.

Heading over to the banquet, nearly 200 silent auction items were available for bid and the spread including prime rib and an assortment of buffet items were an inviting sight for the weary golfers. The program included a big MAHALO to Mr. Alan Yamamoto, Tournament Chair for the last 20 years! It also included fabulous team prizes including neighbor island and local hotel nights.
