Continuing Education
Recognizing the importance of renewing skills and interests in librarianship, the Friends award grants each year for library staff to attend the American Library Association and Public Association Conferences. This allows for a flow of information to come from a national network of librarians into our island state. Funds are also available for librarians wishing to enhance their skills at workshops and seminars both on the mainland and within Hawai`i.
